View Full Version : Got my RX8 today! bobclevenger 10-31-2003, 02:26 AM Hi, I'm new on the forum and It helped me make up my mind. Yes, I bought a new RX8 tonight!!!! It's Titanium with Nav system and the GT package with Black/Chapparral leather. It's designed to hold the owner's manual and associated paperwork. If you didn't get it, I'd go back to the dealership and ask them for it. Don't you find if you put the menu there the passenger would find it hard to close the door? It does take a little force to close the door properly but the menu completely stuff the handle so the passenger has nothing to hold on to. The glove box is too small. The pocket behind the passenger seat has a Melbourne Map in it........ Oh well.... It's on the driver's side and I have rather thin fingers, so it's not a problem for me. I keep my registration papers in the same case. The glove box is too small. The pocket behind the passenger seat has a Melbourne Map in it........ I find ALL glove boxes too small. But the 8's box is larger than my '96 Mustang Cobra's was. I really find the centre consoles to be much too small, but I guess Mazda did the best they could. OK, back to tracing out the wiring for my cell phone install.... If you are worried, drop by the dealer and have them check it real quick! |
