Hi all.This is my first post.Just got my 8 last week and the salesman told me that if I want to keep my engine in good shape, I should warm it for 5 minutes or so and let it cool down for about the same.That's good but not very convenient.I haven't seen this advice anywhere in this forum.What I usually do is drive it easy until I reach normal operating temperature and let it cool at idle only if I feel that I pushed it hard.Do you agree with my logic?The one thing I do follow is the short distance procedure given to me in writing from the dealer.
