Ok I'm putting $2 Grand down in March 03 and waiting until May or June to pick up just some questions and feed back
What color White or Silver I hate black because 2 minutes after washing and its still dirty. And should I get the Sport Suspension since I'm getting 18"s. And what about break in time what to do since this is my first Wankel don't want to put it in service in a week after getting it also its 6 speed.:D

Yes, get the sports suspension, I think you will get it automatically if you get the manual tranny.... I'm getting a dark blue because not many cars are out there in that color.. so it will be unique :)

Between White and Sliver... No question, I would get the sliver with the red/Black interior.

I am between Black or Yellow???? My last two card were sliver and I need a change. I always wanted a yellow car, but my wife thinks it is "cheesy"

add the red inserts on the interior and thats what i recommend, but of course i am biased because that is what i am getting. i said getting because my wife just got a new job making more than me so i am really getting one too!! although i would consider blue out side with blue inserts but i have to see it first.

If it were between silver and white, I'd go silver. I'm debating between silver and yellow. The yellow looks sweet on the 8 but I'm afraid I'll get tired of it after a while.

RotorMotor,

please let me know what you decide. I am in a similar situation. I have always thought the yellow was very sweet. But, is the yellow "to much"??

Hey, at least I got some company in my boat... :p

Pros to yellow:
Looks better on the RX-8 than any other car I've seen
Definitely a head-turner
Probably won't be a whole hell of a lot of them
Just plain pimpin'

Cons:
Will you get tired of it?
Resale value?
Probably a little harder to keep clean

It sucks too considering a good number of us will be ordering our cars before they come out. All in all though, I think I'll probably wind up with the yellow. It's just too damn tight! :D

How about purple with an orange interior?
-Troll

(I'm thinking red/red, gunmetal/red, blue/blue, or blue/tan)

are blue inserts still available?
I can't remember, it might just be red tan and black now...

Blue/tan would be cool:cool:

I would like maybe tangerine/black (with gunmetal wheels if possible), black/red or silver/blue.

My color combo. is going to be silver with red leather. Silver seems to accentuate any car's lines. It's a color that can be warm, cold, or cool. It shows dirt far less than any color below it's spectrum so it still looks good even when kinda dirty. I like white also, and it takes a very good car design to carry white IMO, but the RX-8 can carry white very well. If I got white, it would be with a beige, red, or black interior. Which ever color you choose, the RX-8 will carry it just fine.
