Hey I am about to put a procharger on my Transam and I am taking the nitrous kit off it and thinking about putting it onmy rx-8. Its a Zex kit.
Is anyone running nitrous on there rx-8. How strong are these lil rotarys you think it will handle a 75 or 100 shot? Would you upgrade fuel system(fuel pump)?

....and in a few weeks I will have my nitrous plate, much like a perimeter plate, available so you won't have to drill that $80 intake duct.

Thanks fellas. I would have introduced myself but I didn't see any Introduction Greetings section. After I put my D-1 on my Trans Am I will be in contact. I just wanted to see how strong these little rotaries were when it comes to the hard kick in the ass of spray.

^^Good thing you have the ZEX setup as it has been proven to work great on the 8 and is the system most (if not all) of us are using, thanks to CRH and his R&D on the subject. But as you will read 55 shot is pretty much max jetting used right now due to the 8's sophisticated ecu......but, come Spring/Summer that will all change... buuuaahhh hhaaa.... buuuahhh hhaaaa...mmmbuuaahhha haa!

I've been looking everywhere online for some comparisons for a say... greddy turbo vice the new DNA procharger kit... haven't found anything. is there anyone who knows how they compare? i really want to get the better one for my car. not only for performance but for longest lasting kit. Thank you for all of your input!
