I'm Driving down the road and I see a nice RX8 pass me in the left lane. Stock, but clean. The road was soaked since it's been raining and I'm a good 40ft. behind him.
We get to a main intersection and I'm a good 4 seconds behind him accelerating at a normal pace in the middle lane to get to the S. bound Fwy. Past the intersection is a mall plaza and I see some cars slow down to go into the plaza. The RX8 is still in the very left lane and needs to be in the RIGHT lane to get on the N. bound fwy. Rx8 turns the signal on, no cars in the middle lane except for me a good 4 seconds behind (>30mph).
Out of nowhere, without a signal, an RSX/Integra swerves from the right lane to the MIDDLE LANE Right into the RX8 (now 3/4 into the middle lane). Apparently this guy could not wait for the traffic to clear ahead of him (remember the people trying to turn into the plaza?) and just turned. The RX8 swerved AWAY and AHEAD in the wet with such ease and fluidity that I smiled and thought about the great handling of the 8 and how even in the wet it can help avoid an accident caused by a total moron.
Wet or Dry, the 8 continues to amaze me. The second refines the suspension even MORE.
