You can't blame Chad for the Bengals disappointing finish for the past two years. You gotta look at their defense and all those injuries and the off-field troubles they have gotten into. In the middle of the season, they pretty much didn't have linebackers due to injuries. They were using 3rd string linebackers. Chad T.J and Carson combo is one hell of an offensive force. They had to basically score massive points in order to win because they couldnt rely on their defense and they knew it. Oh by the way I'm a Bengals fan if you couldn't tell lol.

He didn't start producing until his 3rd year. I don't know if it was because of apptitude or waiting in line but for all his talent and being in his prime seem like he would have shined from day one. He also gets shut down sometimes by meager corners.

lol at those ones. Champ and Hall are two very good corners and dont get "toasted regularly."

Chad has been a top wr the past few years. he has proven to be a great wr.

and B Roth just had an out standing year where he posted a 104.1 QB rating and threw 32 tds to 11 ints.

Champ is one of the best corners in the league,

I think Reggie Bush is kinda over rated .. Don't know if he will ever be an every down back.

Shaun Alexander is over rated.. or I guess not anymore cause people know he is a shell of hes former self now

Roy Williams is over rated, cant cover worth a damn, he gets abused by opposing offenses

Alge Crumpler is good, but overated

i highly agree with the bolded. Bush needs serious work in a position that should make an easy transition.

how Roy Williams makes probowls is beyond me

Reggie had a tough year but last year he put up good all purpose yards and had some spectacular plays. What killed him this year was the fumbling, not so much between the tackles since that never was his role on the team anyway. Cut those fumbles in half and Saints would have been in the playoffs. But yep, for all the hype I agree overated right now.

ShAdOwFoX

Reggie Bush is definitely overrated...all that hype for nothing. Adrian Peterson never got that much hype and look at him now. He's a monster. Even Maurice Jones Drew proved to be an affective running back than Bush. All Bush does is make commercials like Manning, but Manning can do whatever he wants cause he's been in the league for awhule, Bush on the other hand has a long way to go before he starts commercials.

the way i look at Bush is as a weapon. he isnt a complete back yet, but if you use him effectively he can great. you just have to be creative.

It's not fair you blame Romo for the playoff loss. Blame the WR's, blame the bad calls, blame Jessica Simpson, blame Wade Phillips for calling a timeout when the clock was clearly stopped in the 4th.

Alex Smith...can't the niners just admit he's a bust and kick him to the curb already?! I think he only had one game this season where he threw over 200 yds.
dammit bring back steve young, ronnie lott, jerry rice and the gang....niner fans have suffered long enough!

I say Shaun Hill takes the starting QB spot next season.

I think Ray Lewis is kinda over rated right now. He was the best at one point, but hes no longer as good as hes reputation anymore, but hes still a very good middle line backer that has plenty of years left.

Brandon Lloyd, aka big play Lloyd. he made all those crazy 1 handed catches for the 9ers, then after a 10M signing bonus from The Danny, he cant even crack the lineup.

Mike Williams also, he was touted as one of the best wideout to ever come out of USC, ran a 4.4 at the combine. He hasnt done much for all hes physical talent

Then theres Robert Gallery, huge athletic 6-7 tackle that was supposed to be the next Ogden.
