I didnt know exactly what was suppose to be loosened through the tech guides i found. I do not believe the car is low enough in the front.

Go to the search function and type in " preloading". That should explain it for you. Very simple procedure that takes only a few minutes and should drop your front down.

Jack it up, loosen the A-arms, lower the car(for loading..........that's for TEAMRX8), maybe push up and down on the front end a little, then climb under there and tighten A-arms to spec.

Also don't forget that with new springs the suspension will settle after the first hundred miles or so.

In addition, keep in mind that not every RX-8 leaves the factory with the exact same ride height. There are tolerances built into the suspension, and yours may not end up at *exactly* the same height as another identically equipped car.

cool thanks for the good information. Will loosening these up change my alignment? I got the car lowered about a month ago and have since already had it aligned. Although if it does i will get it aligned again.

Probably not 100% needed, but I think I would go ahead and do it.
I would recommend a search in the DIY section about springs and or shocks if unsure about thow to do this whole loading thing, but I pretty much expalined it above, just make sure you use jack stands and be careful.

I will definately be careful. Thanks for the good information and all the help. I actually have a friend with a shop with a few lifts in it. He will let me use one of them on the weekend i am sure so this should be a quick process.

Well i got it done last night and i am pretty sure it dropped about 3/4 in. I will post pics when i get on my mac and can retrieve it. Initially i was disappointed when i first got springs on but after last night it was all worth it, the car looks much better.
