I know this isn't the place for this email, but it was the first forum I was able to get to without having account problems. I'm having all sorts of trouble logging in or doing any normal activity with this account. Everytime I log in, it takes me to the redirect page, and then prompts me to log in again. I can't update my profile in the control panel, I can't post (not sure why it worked this time), or do anything that requires logging in. I even tried creating a new account (WinningBlue_RX8) and it gave me the same troubles. I've emailed rx7club@charter.net several times but I never get a response. I imagine the adminstrator is probably swamped with emails, but I can't be sure. Can anyone pass this message on to someone that can help? I'd appreciate it a lot!

My first guess would be that you're blocking cookies from this site.

I think I had the same problem, but with another site. Turns out that I was going to the wrong address. Are you sure you're going to http://www.rx8forum.com/

Some more information. I'm behind a proxy, and I never had any problems before the forum was switched to newer faster servers. After the switch took place, I tried to update my profile's email address, unsuccessfully. It gives me an error saying there was a slight error with the rx8forum database and to try refreshing the window (and if you refresh, it takes you to the "forgot your password" page), or to email the administrator, which I've done in the past. If I click back, and try to submit the form again, I get the same error. And as for the log in problems, if I just keep hammering away trying to log in, eventually it lets me in. About the 3rd or 4th try usually. I don't believe it is a cookie problem, and I am definitely going to the correct page, rx8forum.com. Yargh.

Try doing the following
1) Tools/Internet Options/Security
2) Select Trusted Sites
3) Click on the Sites button.
4) Add in www.rx8club.com
5) Save the information.

Already tried that. I'ved tried everything possible with the cookies, I don't believe it's a cookie issue. I think there is an issue with the new server. Is anyone else able to update their email addresses within their profiles? If they can, then I imagine there is an issue between my proxy and the new server. It's a headache, but I have to log in about 4 times anytime I need to post.

By the way, I do appreciate your suggestions. This post went first try! But I bet it botches up when I click the submit reply button.... Yup, it did.

Actually, the correct forum address now (since the server update) is www.rx8club.com - the old rx8forum address is aliased to the new rx8club address, IIRC.

Try using www.rx8club.com instead!

Dang, I was hoping that would work. It still messes up though. All is lost.
