I just recently put them in and being in a hurry and as retarded as I was that night I rushed through the job. Is it extremely bad for the wires to be mixed up? I need to run back through them and check but I am a little unsure how to go about doing this. I haved search and found only things about the install. I am a young guy just trying to learn about my car and do things on my own. I am just asking for some help from one 8 owner to another......

i would say disconnect everything and do it again...the coil packs go in order of Front Leading/trailing then the other two are rear leading/trailing..i just recently did mine with a new set of ignition coils, plugs and wires and i found the best way to do it and not scre up is to do them one by one, take one off...do it...then do the next. if you look on the side of the engine you will see a L or T to determine which is which... and the OEM trailing wires had colored lines to help tell them apart if that helps any...good luck man.

ok thanks man...if I do it again a better question is since all the racing beat wires are different lengths or look like it how do I know which RB wire is which. Are the coils labeled with a T or L.....I am bit new at this so I understand if you lose your cool with my questions but I appriciate the help....

hell no man i ask questions too so i know how it feels, honestly i did mine one by one and watched the lengths so i cant tell you which lengths go where, i kinda dont remember, i hope someone elsec an chime in with that...

It's important that the correct coilpack is attached to the correct spark plug. which wire you use to do it is not as important except it has to be long enough to connect the two.

Start with the shortest wire and figure out where it goes first.

As the others said make sure you absolutely have the right coil attached to the right spark plug. That's what is most important.

thats how they go on the coils.

L1 is lower plug on front rotor
T1 is top plug on front rotor


L2 is lower plug on rear rotor
T2 is top plug on rear rotor

Thanks a lot guys, I took care of it the other day. I rushed through the job and some how only had two wires mixed up so it wasnt that bad. By the way I did coils, wires, and new plugs and the difference in MY car is night and day.....best thing I have dont yet.
