One place charges 70c EACH... called another dealership figuring there must be a mistake.. nope. The second dealership charges $1 each. Correct me if I'm wrong, but arent these fasteners made out of PLASTIC?

Aren't you spending too much time being concerned over pennies?

LOL !

They're plastic, but ALSO remember its *Mazda* genuine item, it WILL cost more.

a Buck each sounds about right.

You might want to check out Lowe's in the screws and bolts section. There's a pull out drawer for automotive fasteners and bolts. I usually check there first before I go to the dealership for those plastic fasteners. They're not as cheap as you think especially if you have to get a lot.

very nice secret! Bookmarked.

P.S. those little cheats at the dealership.. that site (link below) shows that MSRP is only $0.67 and my local dealerships are quoting $.70 and $1.00. Anyways, I picked up a box of fasteners at autozone and they fit fine. Autozone also has a buy 1 wiper get 1 one free on duralast brand.. so I got me some new wiper blades :)

Sure you can get after market fastners but they are not the same. Some are better some are worse than stock.

If it's for the interior, the looks will never be the same.
