Just a quick note to invite any road course drivers out there to join MVP Track Time (http://www.mvptracktime.com)for track days in 2008. You can find us at www.MVPTrackTime.com. We are open to all makes of cars and convertibles that meet the rules.

Our 2008 track days (so far) are as follows:

April 21 - Putnam Park (Near Indianapolis) [Tax Freedom Track Day- SOLD OUT!]
May 9 - Summit Point (West Virgiania) [Private Corporate Event - SOLD OUT!]
June 2 - Autobahn Country Club (Near Joliet, IL.) - SOLD OUT!
August 18 - Autobahn Country Club
September 13 & 14 - Blackhawk Farms (Near Beloit, WI) [Our 1st Weekend Event]

Both Autobhan dates are once again the full 3.56 mile road course. None of this namby-pamby 1/2 track stuff. We will be announcing at least one more track day or weekend for 2008 soon.

If by agenda for the track day, you mean the schedule. Below is our basic schedule for an MVP Track Time track day:

6:30 - 7:30AM Final Tech Insepctions
7:30 - 8:15AM Mandatory Drivers Meeting
8:25 - 8:45 Group 3 (Advanced)
8:50 - 9:10 Group 2 (Intermediate)
9:15 - 9:35 Group 1 (Novice) - First Session is a Lead/Follow
9:40 - 10:00 Group 3
10:05 - 10:25 Group 2
10:30 - 10:50 Group 1
10:55 - 11:15 Group 3
11:20 - 11:40 Group 2
11:45 - 12:05 Group 1

12:05 - 1:00PM - Catered Lunch from MVP Track Time

1:05 - 1:25PM Group 3
1:30 - 1:50 Group 2
1:55 - 2:15 Group 1
2:20 - 2:40 Group 3
2:45 - 3:05 Group 2
3:10 - 3:30 Group 1
3:35 - 4:00 Group 3 (25 Minute Session)
4:05 - 4:30 Group 2 (25 Minute Session)
4:35 - 5:00 Group 1 (25 Minute Session)

Track Day Ends at 5:00

Basically a little more then 2 hours per run group on track. Honestly, a lot of drivers leave before the last session because they are tired. Hope this helps!

I have not met the new Blackhawk owners personally, but I have spoken with Cindy Robinson, the track manager, several times and she has been very accomidating with scheduling, referring a caterer, answering questions, etc.

Speaking with friends who have run at Blackhawk under previous owner, the new administration seems quaite a bit more responsive. Guess we will see in May!

PS: Blackhawk Farms Raceway (September 13th & 14th) is already ½ full as well!

Autobahn August 18th was near perfect, barring a few offs. We had a full house for a gorgeous day. Let's hope September 13th & 14th at Blackhawk Farms is the same.
