i just gor my car out of the body shop. they replace my front bumper along with some reinforcement parts and put in a new AEM CAI. since i got it back i have had a rough idle. when stopped at stoplights my car drops down to 1rpm and then drops further to 3/4 of an rpm where it feels like my car is going to stall. what can i do to repair this problem. it was in the shop recently and the ignition coild were replaced due to a misfire in cylinder 2 obd readout. could my spark plugs have gone bad? or did they not install my intake right? can anyone help me diagnose the problem....

3/4 of an RPM is quite slow, no wonder it is vibrating...

bad neutral switch. Dealership shoudl fix it if you're under warranty.

no need to link or anything

just bring it into dealership, tell them the netural switch is broken causing it to idle super funny. they will fix it.

It's common for body shops to disconect the battery before working on it.

Just re-set the ECU to make sure and drive it a few cycles.

Anytime you re-set or disconnect you will have idle problems until the car goes through a few cycles and the computer learns how to manage the car.

Will my extended limited powertrain warranty cover getting the neutral switch replaced? my regular warranty is already used up. i also have an AEM CAI and greddy strut bar... will they give me problems about my warranty if i have those on there?

what exactly is going on.... is it the neutral switch or the car trying to learn how to drive itself after the battery was disconected? i drove the car through 4 gas tank cycles ant still had a rough idle. it was fine when it went into the body shop.

If you've gone through 4 entire tanks of gas it is most likely not the car relearning. (unfortunately)
Take it into the dealership and they can fix it rather quickly
