brothervoodoo 10-25-2003, 12:59 PM What do you mean by already, there's been a few posted thus far. Not everybody knows what you mean by nasioc, I had to look it up. Did the Subaru board offer any other info, what part of the country etc... post the original link..
Could that be the car from the fatal Philly accident, it looks like there may have been a bit of a fire in this one. But it seemed the philly one was a bit worse.
Ike
info:
from So Cal, 57 north to 60 east interchange... but that is where this truck was sighted not necessarily where the accident occurred...
oh and it was from www.nasioc.com (subaru board)
mikeb 10-25-2003, 06:00 PM wow that sucks
the 57 is about 5 miles from my house
Skyline Maniac 10-25-2003, 09:09 PM I don't know at which speed did this accident occur, but the frame structure on the 8 held up pretty well. My concern is with the front door hinge area. Notice a hole at where the hinge links to the frame? It appears that the emergency workers had to cut the door loose to get it to open. That can't be good~ :(
Murphy 10-26-2003, 04:35 AM As Ike says above, looks simliar to the car in the Philly accident.
Pics of that http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1015044
I say similar as I'm not convinced it's the same car.
Shane 10-26-2003, 06:59 PM The philly car had a busted out windshield.
carnut 11-05-2003, 11:07 PM This will probably be rebuilt and sold out of state as a slightly used car. That happened to me in 1984 with a 300Z or ZX, whatever it was at the time. We found some suspicious things under the hood, tracked down the original owner (not as easy in those days), and found out he had been creamed at an intersection two weeks after he bought the car. Got our money back from the Kansas City dealer, though.

It may have been travelling faster, and may have hit more things before coming to a stop...
