Just to make our mouths water some more...

A very nicely put together publicity pack just arrived in the post entitled Freedom Fighter with some great images if the RX-8 plus lots of complimentary blurb about eh rotary, performance and safety.

The thing that makes it most personal of all is that the double page spread image near the back is of the silver hi-power reg: GK03 NFD that I test drove from Mazda Beaconsfield!

Cool - a piece of the action.

I got one of these as well.

Got mine this morning too. Nothing new in it, but very nice all the same.

Take a look at the fuel economy figures on the back though. They're a little scary until you realise they've got mpg and l/100km the wrong way round. ;)

Very nicely done too.

All this mouthwatering stuff from Mazda is very good but I would rather have had my car.

My girlfriend is a grpahic designer, and rekons a brochure like that is about a fiver.....

No, came from Mazda marketing. Don't worry is Mazda customer delivery you have to worry about :)

No - I've got my positive head on and everything is going to run smoothly from now on.

I owe Mazda a persoanl apoligy, seems as if mine had arrived days ago - but got lost underneath other things on the coffee table. Looks good though, but I just want the car.

Also - note that due to postal strikes lots of post is not arriving... Some people in London have not had post for 11 days...

but im not in London.... :(

Er no, but a massive persentage of post comes via london - not sure who/where this pack came from, but it is a possibility. The strikes are having a knock on effect on lots of places.

Interestingly the address on mine was mis-printed - which it hasnt been on anything before - a manual download to somewhere???!

Indeed, we do appreciate this stuff, but did anyone notice the big red letters at the top of the covering letter:-

"The revolution is now in your hands"...

My first thought was, no... it's still half way to rotterdam.

I do believe that nasty chief constable in your neck of the woods is putting a block on your car being delivered. He just knows you cannot wait to blast it around all those roads purpose made for the RX-8.

The only constable in the village is the girlfriends cousin and he takes my cars out for a razz!:p

I havent received one of these. I dont know why, but maybe they were just sent to selected customers.

Would have been nice to have, but more concerned about the getting car now.

Mine came through last week - but I've still not had the hard-backed book - was speaking to my dealer at the weekend and he rekons I'll probably have the car before the book! Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later!
