I got a new puppy today from a neighbor. Its half Australian shepherd and half schnauzer/mutt. Its so F-ing cute. Ill post pictures maybe tomorrow or tomorrow night. :) :) :)

Congrats! Only thing I don't like about puppies is their poo is liquidy and cleaning it up sucks.

Sweet...well....my puppy is outside so poo cleanup is a snap-- You just make sure its not on the sidewalk. :)

My roomate got a pic of my kittens today, one was sleeping under the covers of his bed, like his arms were laying out and so was his head but the rest was under the covers. He swears he didn't set that up.

Personally, I am in favor of you going outside and waking the dog up to snap a quick pic. :D:

I have a huge Choc Lab/Pit Mix............he's dumber than a box of rocks but a gr8 protector!!

I should have my bunny by Christmas....if I do, I'll post pics of them together......that otta be smart, huh?

^ we also have two rabbits...our "hunting" dogs love to just lay there and watch the rabbits hop around or climb on them. Never once had a problem.

Not that its an even comparison, but he gets along wonderfully with my 3yo. Tickles her by flea biting her.....its really cute.

dogs know how to treat babies good. when i was a baby, our dog would bite down on the back of my pjs and carry me around.

Thats an interesting mix. I like labs to but since this was my first dog, I had to try a small one first. :lol:

Thanks... the name game was a challenge... they were nameless for a good month. I wanted Daisy and Duke but I guess it was a little too feminine for my S.O. :uhh: So they are nick-named after Abercrombie & Fitch. Fitch fits the part... he's quite a character.

Speckled-like = dapple. (similar to Fitz's dach, right?) Lots of aussie's are dapple.

An interesting mix, that's for sure. High-maintenance dog, I'll bet. Energy/exercise-wise, anyway. Aussies love to run/play/exercise, hope you've got lots of energy!

Coop - nice looking labs... I had a pure breed lab and what growing pains the first two years were... from dug out electrical outlets (and eating the drywall afterwards), pulled up carpet, chewed up window cranks, torn up dining room chair pads, and eating out of my neighbor's disgusting flower pot full of rain and muck like it was a steak dinner... it was a true test of patience....

No all three are from different litters, Miller is the oldest he's 5 , Buddy was next he's 3, Mickey is 6 mos.

They are great dogs, too smart sometimes.

For instance we can't put on tennis shoes without it meaning we are going for a walk, they don't respond to dress shoes.

I actually don't have Miller anymore my ex girlfriend got custody.

My wife and I have Buddy and Mickey now.

Been through all of that.. I know what you mean. Luckily it is just a phase (a really long, testing, expensive phase) but a phase nonetheless

If you need an excuse to get two dogs. We got both our goldens from the same litter, and since they always had each other to play with they never destroyed anything in the house. Except for my sisters stuffed animals.

My step-mom has a golden-doodle.
