I am considering purchasing a 1993 929 as my daily driver. However, since I live in the North East, I would like to have TRACTION CONTROL, which this car did not offer.

I would like to fit after market traction control, but I'm not sure that that can be done.

Does anyone have any knowledge on after market traction control?

Thanks much

I think it would cost too much. It would be cheaper to go out and buy the car that already has it.

Traction control would be extremely difficult and expensive to retrofit - I haven't heard of ANY kits on the market to do this.

What you really need is 4 good winter tires! Then just learn to modulate your right foot - wheelspin is bad when you're trying to accelerate. 4 winter tires, however, will make far more difference than traction control.

find a car of the correct size that has traction control. pull off it's body and slap on the bodyof the 929. finished. i think that would be the easiest and least time consuming way ;)
