View Full Version : We have a moderator! sco 10-24-2003, 06:39 AM Just noticed this in the top left.... (Moderated by: Hymee) Better start behaving myself ;) Kev 10-24-2003, 07:17 AM Thanks for taking the role Hymee. Lock & Load 10-24-2003, 08:15 AM Hymee Congrats on becoming the moderator for our forum , i have spent part of today with danial who was the terminators stunt double , so i am glad you are a moderator and not the terminator . Kas 10-24-2003, 08:28 AM Consider this sucking up in no formal sorta way =) Wildcard 10-25-2003, 05:03 AM Did you volunteer Hymee, or were you "chosen" by the other moderators on the forum? Nice work BTW. Hymee 10-26-2003, 04:17 PM Hi guys. Y'all behave yourselves now :p I while ago someone put up a thread about this. I expressed an interest, and got contacted by the site admin late last week, and well... the rest is history... My personal thoughts would be to: 1. Keep it sensible and responsible. 2. Keep it readable (none of the "cuz itz foowly sic man" crap). 3. Keep it informative. 4. Keep it helpful. 5. Respect the thoughts of others, but encourage debate. 6. A bit of humours stirring is OK (one we get to know each other a bit more ;) 7. Have fun! We should be able to keep this a high quality forum. Otherwise - I will wield the knife! BTW - I don't like rice ;) Cheers, Hymee. PS - I don't think there is any rule to say there can only be 1 mod on a forum. timbo 10-27-2003, 08:38 PM Thanks for taking it on, Hymee. These types of boards do sometimes need a bit of moderation Timbo Kas 10-27-2003, 08:52 PM Can i swear? I like to swear when frustrated. timbo 10-27-2003, 11:33 PM Oh f&%k off Kas! Does that work?! ;) Kas 10-27-2003, 11:36 PM arghh you old c*nt! Feels great doesnt it ? Hymee 10-28-2003, 02:01 AM I c@nt see any swearing there... Funny spelling though... Hehehe. I remember I posted a thread about the spitting incident full of very bad words. I felt better after it. Sometimes it is better to type your swearing post to make you feel better, then killing the browser instead of hitting the send button. Cheers, Hymee sco 10-28-2003, 02:05 AM Given Hymee's comments on someone spitting on his car... I think he's not afraid of the odd cuss word ;) It was entirely clear he was a little pistoned off at the time. Edit: Aargh!!! Concurrent post ;) Lock & Load 10-30-2003, 03:30 AM Having personally seen hymee today the guy who spat on his car must have had a death wish because hymee is a tall solid type guy, but being the gentleman, he used all his superior mental prowes to restrain himself . The fact that the guy was near a bikie clubhouse and probably a member ,would have possibly influenced his decision not to take action . Anyway '"REVENGE IS A DISH BEST EATEN COLD " (old klingon saying ) Hymee 11-02-2003, 05:04 AM Restrain myself!! C@n't you remember my freakin post! Hehehe. |
