They'll probably replace the hood for a fake C/F hood, airbrush the rotor, and replace every panel of the car with different colors. No, it would not surprise me. desmo996 10-23-2003, 01:08 PM Originally posted by desmo996 uuhhh? ...no, but now that you mentioned it, somebody will. I guess it would look something like this: CraziFuzzy 10-23-2003, 01:35 PM Damn that looks sooooo HOT!!!!! Shocka 10-23-2003, 01:46 PM ok who took that picture of my RX! mikeb 10-23-2003, 02:51 PM Jhouse its a open forum Jhouse 10-23-2003, 02:52 PM you have to be kidding me I thought i was here all by myself Genom 10-23-2003, 03:24 PM I kinda like the idea of a airbrushed rotor. Think I'll do it in vynil though so I can put it on for goofy moments and then take it off. wahoo 10-23-2003, 03:30 PM Hehe, VW actually had a limited edition car (Jetta?) with a similar color scheme in the 90's. I saw one on the street just the other day. Wahoo! Dissolved 10-23-2003, 03:36 PM Originally posted by desmo996 uuhhh? ...no, but now that you mentioned it, somebody will. English 10-23-2003, 03:47 PM I saw a silver one in Ft. Pierce, FL with the rotor indentation painted black. I was really shocked to see what had been done and didn't get a really good look at how well it was done....I wasn't really impressed. XK4 10-23-2003, 04:05 PM Somebody has way too much time on their hands. I love it! zoom44 10-23-2003, 04:15 PM man desmo had some time on his hands and realllly didn't like the idea. i think getting the vinyl done first is a good idea if you really want to try it. that way if it doesn't work for you it is more easily removed. j1mb0x99 10-24-2003, 07:17 AM What if on a black car the rotor was painted on in a flat black... That way it would be visible only at certain times when there are reflections on the rest of the car. I dont know... just thinkin. -JiM Twin8s_babigirl 10-25-2003, 04:46 PM We have two 8s, one black, one blue, and we are not painting trash on either. We did paint the vents silver though and that looks cool. |
