Hello all

Just got back from Calgary today, and had a few hours to do some shopping.

I stayed in Sunridge and happened to be walking by Sunridge Mazda, and had to stop in and see if they had any 8's instock.

YES, they did; 3 to be exact.

A yellow GT 6MT with slider and a blue one I didn't even bother to ask about.

What they had that I was most interested in was a black GT 6MT with a slider and a 3M Clear Bra, returned to the dealer. It had 900km on it. The sales dude was helpful but knew very little about why the car had been returned.

Anyone out there know why?

Hmmm, Odd. I had a call just last week from the guy that sold me mine from Kramer, wanting me to bring it in so a 6'4' dude could try one without the sunroof. He had said there were none around. I have not got the call that the cheque is in yet, so it has not been "convenient" for me to drop by. ( all the Calgary dealerships are owned by the same brothers ...maybe they are not talking)

Hmmm, I was at Kramer on Tuesday to pick up my new driver side floor mat and they had a TiGray GT on the back lot with a sold sign in it.

The family that owned all 3 Mazda dealerships before had to sell majority interest in Sunridge Mazda about 2.5 years ago - now they only own North Hill and Kramer. I believe Mazda forced them to sell one - they did not want one ownership group controlling an entire market the size of Calgary.
