Anyone else get this? Seems worse when I have the music loud (bass is heavier)....but I still hear it when the radio is off.

Best way to describe the sound is that it sounds like a wire is vibrating against some of the window glass or metal frame ever so lightly.

Quite annoying....if anyone else has it, I'd like to know, and see if you know the cause.

I had this for about two weeks, and it was driving me CRAZY... I could hear it mostly from outside the car while the stereo was playing fairly loud (when washing the car), and i could not for the life of me find out where it was coming from... I was going insane...

Then, a couple days ago, my wife and I were driving in the car, and a song i liked came on the radio, so of course my left thumb got happy, and of course the rattling started up again... i started bitching about it, and she just casually pointed out that i had a CD Jewell case in the door pocket. I looked at her funny, reaced down into the pocket, and as soon as i had touched the case... the rattle stopped... i looked back at her, and she just gave me a little smirk... I tucked my tail between my legs and continued home...

Moral of the story, check the pocket before ripping the door apart.. :-)

Ditto. Had the same noise when I first got the car. I could not beleive it this would happen with a new car. I found that those darn jewel cases were thre culprits. Solved the noise problem for me.

I have the problem too, in the passenger door.

Actually, my main complaint with my car is the assortment of rattles and buzzes I am getting from my interior: passenger door, passenger seat (which has to be fully upright to keep it quiet, and even then it isn't always), and the instrument hood.

I am loathe to take it to the dealer and have them screw around with it... does anybody have any experience with dealers successfully eliminating interior noises without creating more of them?

Yes, I too have been experiencing that Rattling from the passenger side door or somewhere around there. I have no jewel cases and it quiet when the car is stopped. It is driving me nuts. I'm gonna get a passenger to ride in my car and see if they can locate the general area while driving (never had anyone else in my car) I hope its an easy fix.

Cheers
Andrew

In addition to the rattling noise from underneath the dashboard console, I also notice the sound of water/coolent running though pipe/hose inside the passenger side dashboard. It sounds like my house's pruming when the toilet being flushed!! :D It is pretty loud especially when I applied the gas in first gear after the stop.

Anyone hear the water/coolent running through the pruming inside the passenger side dashboard? Is this normal?

I've got the same assortment of noises coming from all over.
I did find one however; check the plastic cover that hides the cable going into the rear view mirror, mine is loose and vibrates against the glass echoing down the dash and sounding like it's coming from all over.

I havn't found the one in the door yet though
