Are the brakes on the RX-8 applied the same way as with other cars? I had my uncle replace the brakes on the other cars i had, but someone mentioned something about having a professional do it. Can you DIY on the brake installation (front) or do u have to take it to a shop?

Very easy to do it yourself. You could probably follow the steps in a very detailed DIY for paintng the brake calipers.
