how are they not playing like an undefeated team? they are getting the W and coming back with great drives at the end to win the last 2 weeks. the D stops them for back to back 3 and outs to get the ball back. 3/3 on 4th down. They have done it time and time again, including 2 of their 3 superbowl wins (which they were down in the last few minutes of play). It is something Brady has done over and over.

I thought the main criteria to playing like an undefeated team was to be one. They have had more points than every other team at the end of the game and that's the only time it counts. That seems like being undefeated to me. There's an old saying that says, "I'd rather be lucky than good."

Main pro athletes are classless. It's not just with the Pats. All of them are overpaid and arrogant about it. Remember when the NBA enacted a dress code for players at games who weren't playing? They complained about it. If I were making millions and millions of dollars a year, I'd show up in whatever they wanted me to. Those guys are spoiled brats. i was part of that 90's shit team - had a HUGE parka that was loud as all hell and i got reamed by everyone at school for wearing it! all teams, for the most part, have some sort of rollercoaster, let us pats fans enjoy this ... we're not the yankees, we know what it's like to be a shitty team, but even if you hate the pats or their coach, you can't deny their stats, brady, or their ability to deal for some of the best players.

raised a bosox and patriots fan... dad born in new hampshire, raised in mass and maryland. Growing up I saw the sad side of things.. BoSox not winning a world series in forever and then some. Patriots not doing much of anything. Celtics sucking (who are now having a good year this year as well). So unlike some, I am not a bandwagoner. Love my Michigan and East Coast teams. i agree, but i see where they're coming from -- they are all, to SOME degree, role models for kids. it's no different than when my dad made me tuck in my shirt to go to school, or church, or combed my hair a certain way, or whatever. young kids are very impressionable, as always, but they seem to be getting more and more of their impressions from tv and sports stars. it's not a bad move to require them to look professional or mature just to help. it's something.

I well understand that good hearted banter (trash talk, smack, whatever) is a large part of sports pools. It's fun when it's kept in the context of professional sports as show biz entertainment, which is what it is.

Most people like to root for an underdog against a 'dynasty', whether it be a team or an individual. But a lot of people also (and yes you can do both) like to appreciate a higher plane of excellence.

After the natural barbs of rivalry subside just remember it's entertainment folks. Nothing to take personal and certainly nothing to wish someone ill over.
