I don't remember the exact number but I know it was in the 600's Matt desmo996 10-22-2003, 12:43 PM Originally posted by meeh Just curious to find out... how long did it take you guys to receive your license plate. Did they use vaseline? I guess Florida registration is not too bad ~ $160. They didn't charge triple car tax (No state tax in FL, thanks to tourists). mikeb 10-22-2003, 02:54 PM mine took 2 months to get Gord96BRG 10-22-2003, 04:51 PM Originally posted by mikeb mine took 2 months to get What a joke! (not you, mikeb, but California) Anywhere in Canada, you walk into a registry office (located in every town, and dozens of them in the cities), present your bill of sale and registration papers, they punch it into the computer and hand you a new plate from the stack behind the counter. 10 minutes maximum!! What the hell can they be doing that it takes 2 months????? Even ordering a personalised plate in Canada, it only takes 5 or 6 weeks to arrive. Regards, Gordon zoom44 10-22-2003, 05:04 PM personalized plate took 4 weeks here in oregon tpryor 10-22-2003, 06:01 PM Registration was ~$75 Received license plates 4 days after delivery of the car (inlcuding the one day to mail them to me). But apparently VA is like that normally. mazdabob 10-22-2003, 07:54 PM It's been 10 weeks, and I still don't have my plates. I called DMV and they said my registration and title were issued 9/27 (6.5 weeks), and my plates should arrive 30 days after that. Ridiculous! |
