hey guys, wondering if everyone out there got the factory spoiler or not. I don't think i've seen my color(nordic green) w/the spoiler on it. Is anyone waiting for aftermarket spoilers? Or just rock the car w/no spoiler at all...

I got the factory spoiler. I dislike the back of the 8 the most, but with the spoiler, it's OK. Without one, it just looks bad, IMO.

I think my $350 spoiler will be better spent on a mazdaspeed or other aftermarket spoiler down the road. No factory spoiler for me.. same with no body kit.. I'm waiting for the aftermarket...

Euro cars have a spoiler as standard (allegedly to improve fuel economy)

Close- those are on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, NC. I haven't had a chance to drive it much at home in the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of Charlottesville.

I am surprised to see how many people here have added the spoiler, I added mine a couple of weeks ago.

Yep, those pix look familiar. The one looking down to the parking lot is, I think, the one where we found a rather large copperhead sleeping at the base of a tree, not 1 foot off the path, just before you get to the overlook. We just walked quietly by, both ways. It didn't budge. Pretty pretty...

I ordered the spoiler w/ my original order. I think they put it on in Jacksonville. I think the 8 needs the spoiler.. After all, it IS a sports car. The factory one is a nice shape, not too big, bulky or extreme like some I have seen on the road.

I like the factory spoiler. Most the after market stuff (not all but most) looks stupid, and don't compliment the car.

but I love the ms one especially after seeing it in person at sevenstock, however I dont love the price tag

That's what I'm talking about! I grew up in NMB, so Joe Robbie/Pro Player was a short drive away. I'm die hard everything Miami, sports-wise.

But uhh...back on topic...umm...yeah, I like my spoiler. ESPECIALLY when certain cars behind you have their brights on. It actually does a pretty good job of blocking out that light, without them having to be really on your tail. Of course, there is always flipping the rear view mirror, but I have never liked that alternative.

Just got back from Pro Player ... Marlins 6..Evil Empire4...How sweet it is!!!

Now we just need a little luck to win one out of two for one of the great stories in sports. It was great to be able to attend the game. My two boys ages 10 & 14 will never forget it.. ohh yeahhh.. to tie into this post...my spoiler got me there quicker w/ zero drag, and complete downforce?? well...maybe not...but the car looked great w/ Marlin flags..
