I asked whether I would be the first owner or not - this was his reply.... Hi Si, Thanks fro your interest. You're not the first to ask and I have had conflicting information from the dealer on this question. They initially said they would be happy to do the first registration to someone other than myself, but then this week they said that Mazda will be checking that registrations are to the person contracted (i.e. me). All I can say at this point is I would do my best to have the buyer be the first registered owner, but I can't guarantee that. I was thinking about doing the same with mine but privately not Ebay, as I'm strugling on getting the right money for my car at the moment and if it means selling the RX8 on, then so be it.
