If we do not buy from Mazda where else could we purchase our bits from in this country and have them fitted? Is there a realistic alternative?

I need to know before I order from Mazda at their high prices.

Perhaps if we all refused to buy, they might re-think their prices... (Don't bother answering that - I know the answer!)

Rael,

I'd hang on - plenty of aftermarket companies will come up with stuff - you only have to look at the amount of stuff for the MX5...

the only other place to try japanparts.com. They stock all the official mazda accessories, and are cheaper. You'll have to fit them yourself though.

Presumably strakes and crests etc cant exactly be hard to fit?

Both sound fairly easy. Some of the other stuff (bodykit etc) sounds nasty tho.

I'll buy my strakes from mazda, stuff em for the rest, I can wait.

Strakes didnt work out much cheaper getting from states once C&E add their bits.

Edo,

Could be right but a) I am not willing to wait in the hope that what I want is available and b) besides the easy-to-fit items do not fancy fitting them on myself (tape, leather gear stick, sports exhaust etc ).

Do you think the parts expensive compared to Audi, I don't really?
