Is this a bad combination? I'm thinking of Tein S-tech lowering springs now, and int he future get some 19" Rims for the car... No shock changes, just spring. Will I rub?

 

it depends on the rim width, the offset, and the tire size you put on the rim. asking if you'll rub is a pretty broad question, do you know closely the exact size you're going for?

 

i have tein s techs on 19 inch rims and no rubbing wat so ever

 

i just got my Tein S-Tech's today. haven't put them on yet but they hopefully won't rub. BTW my wheels are F: 19x8"+35 235/35 R:19x9.5"+40 265/30.

 

I would like 19 x 9" all around. I don't want staggered so that my tires will last longer with some front/back rotations.

 

depends on your tire size too, you will most likely rub if you have tires that is 255/40 or more.

I've got the S-techs on 18" wheels and think the car would look really nice with 19" wheels.

There are quite a few guys on the forum running the combination you're thinking about and it's a really nice drop. Go for it.

 

225-35-19 on 19 x 8.5 a little to thin i should have gone with 245s

 

way too thin

 

i had tein s-tech with tsw thruxton in 19x8 +40mm 245/35/19 front and rear no rubbing at all and actually looked great. but at 30lbs per rim those had to go.

 

i have S-Techs
with 19x8.5 +28 225/35/19 19x9.5 +33 275/30/19
shaved rear fenders and rub still on aggressive slopes
i will be changing to
245/35/19 and 265/30/19 soon

 

How about S-tech's with 18 x 8.5? I'd also prefer one tire size all around for rotations and ease (believe it or not, this was one of the reasons I picked the 8 over the 350z). So essentially what tire size would fit a 18 x 8.5 rim and without rubbing?
