Any one here agree with me that the g35 infiniti exhasut sound really good?:) i sure do. Well i was thinking about it today and i was wonder, considering its also a duel exhasut if its possible to fit it to my rx8? sounds crazy but i think it may work. I was looking at a g35 on a lift today and it poped into my head It looks pretty similar to our exhaust. Their is a shop who has done somthing like this before. Sounds crazy as hell but damn it sounds nice.:spank:

You may also find that the side-exit pipes on a Viper have a really nice V10 sound to them......

yes, the G has a very nice exhaust note. I can always tell when one is driving by, as the sound is very distinct. The V6 has a lot to do with that sound though...

The VQ35 has a rolling tongue sound to it. Your rotary doesn't. THe VQ35 sounds "OMG awesome" to normal people, not enthusiast . IMO, they sound like crap. Very annoying.

Even if you did this and it sounded somewhat similar (not) you would more than likely melt the mufflers. I don't think they could take the heat of the rotary exhaust.
Do the words Nuclear Furnace mean anything to you?

If a constant booming sound is the choice my 4-banger with 2.5" to 3" to 4" HKS steel tail pipe would sound the best. Not fast but sounds much better than any Honda or Mustang. It gave me head-ache on highways until I put in a resonator.

It's not really just the tail pipe. The engine, down-pipe and main pipe has to play together. And don't forget the CAT.

The Rotary exhaust is actually cooler than the V6 in G35, one reason they don't put a Turbo on the Renesis. Too little exhaust heat for the CAT to work properly.

I forget the numbers, but the Renesis exhaust is still hotter than a conventional piston engine. Its just not as hot as the peripheral exhaust port rotaries (RX7).

Its a matter of taste. I think the VQ35's sound like junk. Coffee grinder comes to mind. I tend to favor a healthy V8.

How can the exhaust gas have a higher weight?? You mean higher density I think. Anyways, back pressure is significant but not as much as in a FI due to detonation. At least I think.
