Retractable key

Anyone got any idea how to tighten the retractable key? Think mine is loose due to frequently dropping it onto the ground. Any help is very much appreciated.

Is it the metal key part/hinge itself? Or the two plastic parts that attach to each other?

The metallic part.

I'm worried it might come off and get stuck inside the keyhole one day during cranking. It didn't feel so loose when it was brand new.

Sigh. Am I the only soul with this problem?

Think I've got another excuse to fix the Start Engine Button.

Mine isn't loose...but I played around with it, and I don't konw how you'd tighten a loose one.

Mine is loose as well... I play with it while I walk around with it in my hand all the time... that's why it's so loose. (Wow, that sentence turned out a bit naughty)
