Yep that's me, all this $$ is going towards a used car(due to lack of interest from my GAP company they have taken there time paying MAC so the 8 is still on my credit, making it impossible for me to pretty much buy anything on credit). On that note anyone in Phoenix have a cheap "project" car, looking for something I can build up over time.

 

Are the HIDs bulbs a drop-in replacement for the halogens or do you have to get a different headlinght assy altogether? If they'll work in the halogen projectors, dibs on bulbs and ballast too....

 

if they were with the ballasts, id be all on it. but i dont think they are

a darnit! phx, are the parts that arent on the hids fixable? i.e. no soldering whatever. just buying the broken parts and plug and play? btw, sorry about your car situation.

 

to be honest I don't remember what parts are which, ie: One side of the ballast has the wires clipped(the are soldered in the box) so some soldering would be required(not sure if this is the bulb side or power side) the other side has spade connectors so you can by new terminals most anywhere.

I just found the light sockets for the bulbs, which will go with the ballasts. So all you need to do is hook up a power source(and solder/crimp the sockets back onto the ballast).

 

If the OEM HID bulbs are not to be DOA, I'll take them!
