May be someone can help me out here...I have a JDM AT RX8 in the UK which has developed an Airbag ECU Fault. Being JDM it only has two Airbags where as all UK models come with 6. Therefore I can't simply replace the ECU with another from here. It needs to be from a Two airbag car... Does anyone one know of a JDM RX8 being broken with an Airbag ECU available?

If you swap the ECU's, your ignition/immobilizer system won't work thus you will not be able to start the car. There's alot of other fun stuff that won't work right as well. Hope this helps :)

I think you both may have misunderstood. I'm not talking about the main ECU that controls engine (and other) functions!

It's just the SAS (Airbag) control unit.

i suggest you post this on the general issues section...you may find better luck there on help
