it depends.

if they have the product in stock, they usually ship it within a day or 2. then it depends on where do you live. so the whole process usually will take less than a week or 2.

if they dont have it in stock, which is *usually* the case because, there is NO WAY that they will stock so many parts, so first they have to special order it, waiting time ... then u have to remember those companies might not have them in stock as well, cuz usually they just make say, 50 at a time, they will sell it ALL out first before they make another 50, so if you're unlucky, you have to wait a long time. Which explains why sometimes it takes 2 months+ to get something from JapanParts.com

I had ordered a set of wheels and Clutch release from them b4, Wheels was super fast, like 8-10 days, I got everything. Clutch release took maybe 2 weeks, still pretty fast IMO

So far I've been waiting since the end of Aug (when I ordered) for my kit. But their Customer Service is top notch. The delays are annoying sure but as previously stated at times it is more the manufacturer rather than Japanparts.

We'll let you know "How much and how soon" before you commit to buying the Kit

We can ship to you by Air or by Sea, Seafreight takes longer but costs less; in either case we handle the clearance for you ( into the USA )

PM me to followup

Best!

No....not yet. I havent had a chance to talk to my body man. I'm thinking that since they aren't that well known yet, I won't be able to get anything much more than a ball park until they see the kit for themselves.

I would think though that there's not much of a difference in the us versions and the SEP3's, so fitments should be about perfect.

Edit:

Emailed vendor with just that question....will let you know.

Thats paint and FIT? Cool. Now I know sort of what I should be expecting..and will know if I'm getting shafted. J/k I know the service writer personally so I know they'll do a good job. If it costs me a bit more......It'll be worth it. A simple fit and paint is the least of my concerns. Eventually I'll be having some custom artwork ghosted on the hood of my car.

This is one idea:

There shouldn't be *any* fitment issues with the Kit

Strongly suggest you get your body shop to quote for painting and fitmant after they've assessed the Kit; this requires a minimum of preparation for painting + fitment is excellent

I've made several orders through Japan Parts. Everytime it arrived faster than their estimate.
They estimated 21 days on my body kit, suspension components, and a few other items... it all arived in 19.
The hood was here in 6 days.

I send my stuff air, so its faster and for me its relatively the same price as sea freight cuz of my location - but nonetheless. point is their estimated times are real, unlike many many many other vendors.

If it's in stock and it's in Japan............

It's 11 days to ship via Ocean 3 days custom clearance here in USA plus shipping to your house.

Plus you need in Japan... custom clearance, shipping to port, and scheduling of a container. Good luck finding a home near Chirstmas time.

You should allow three months and follow up every two weeks with seller, if they offer that service. Main thing is to make sure its:

1) in stock
2) on da boat

Once it's on the boat your safe.

*Wrong*

There is a 48 hour in-Bond security delay ( so freight can be checked prior to Export ) that applies to Japan-side clearances, containers ship every 7-10 days, so if we just missed loading a container, add 7 days to the turnaround time

We estimate 14-21 days clearance through a US Port from Japan-Port/cleared with an extra week to Door delivery inside the 48 States

"3-Days Customs clearance in USA"

*Wrong*

: In Your Dreams

Containers coming through Long Beach can take as long as 3 weeks to clear from the date these land, depends on the time of year + how busy the Port authority is. East Coast ports typically are no better. Container marked for Home Security inspection? Add 7-10 days 'til they get around to that

"Allow 3 months"

*Wrong*

8-10 weeks turnaround is the longest we would ever need to quote to your door inside the 48 States by surface shipment, and 4-6 weeks is achievable door-door for 90% of what we ship

We typically quote the "worst case scenario" turnaround so no-one is ever disappointed

"Once it's on the boat your safe" Safe from what? Some supplier that's lying his *** off to you about delivery times? That makes you "safe"?

Where are you getting your information ( ? ) because so far it's nearly all:

*Wrong*

Ja you got that right.

I'm not gonna reply on this as I work with imports all day long.
It was a general statement basically to cover all those people who want to buy from other Suppliers Not your firm.

Alot of it is conditional.

I have heard nothing but good things about your firm.

Maybe you can tell them the horror stories in dealing with other Vendors.
