Right now the rebate is $3500 does it go up to $4500?

Check for your own zip code, they may very by business center. Noone on the retail side will know what a rebate will go up to until it goes up. It is fresh news to dealerships, customers and even Dealer reps all at once. It is intended that way at all manufacturers I know of. Coorporate near the top keep it under wraps so that people do not exploit the system. If you knew for a fact that the rebate would be $1000 more in three weeks why would you buy a car today? You wouldn't and thus 3 weeks of sales would disapear.

 

i walked into my stealership on halloween and the business mgr guy said he would give 6k off any of the 07 8's that were sitting out front don't know if that helps he said it was a rebate that mazda was giving to move inventory

 

I doubt that. Dealer discount to manufaturer discount is a different thing. Maybe when he said 6k off included both still not bad. & edmunds only tells of right now not a month ahead it changes in december I know it.

 

I'm sure the $6k is total.. rebate and discount.

As I said, Edmunds will only tell now, as the December hasn't been decided, and NOONE will know what it is until Dec 3rd...

We are gonna have an expected "ad car" here for $21,495 for the sport model. That is $5535 off msrp. (rebate and dealer discount)

 

That's about what I paid for my 2/07 RX-8 Sport with Spoiler last month..

I hate the spoiler.

 

That is why I got mine without the spoiler .

But the sport model usually does not have as big of a dealer discount on it. They have less profit than a GT . . . So less room to play with the numbers

 

Beleive it or not I'm getting almost $7000 off total with rebate on a sot rx8. But december is around the corner for an extra $1000 off rebate is not a bad Idea.

I think there should still be a few rx8's out there besides I'm take a big hit on my trade that's why I'm waiting.

 

Well at least its not the $7,500 in "Marketing Support" currently going for 07 BMW Z Coupes. too bad I need 4 seats, yum!

Wows, that much in "trunk money"? That's unheard of for Bimmer... I like that car too... I can't believe that it's selling that poorly...

 

OT, but what gets me is how many people who hate the spoiler like the clunky ground effects package they'll charge you an arm and a leg for. Those sure clutter up the car a lot more than the wing.

 

well most dealerships at this time of the year go as low as $7000 you just can rush into the deal because then they know you really want it bad. I got just about the same quote from 3 dealers and that's the base sport model.

Probably a bigger discount on the gt but for now is a out of my budget.
