Sorry to bug you all.

Does our RX-8's come with ignition switch illumination? I thought we did. There's a clear red plastic above the ignition switch (where you insert the key to start the car) by the steering column, but I see no light coming on.

If so, any ideas on how to diagnose this, particularly replacing the bulb if faulty?

i believe it comes on when your lights are on.

 

i believe mine comes on when i open my door (be4 i turn my lights on) my dash lights are all the way clicked on high though so that may make a difference
