Interesting to know how people think on this...

My immediate ideal is a gull wing door conversion. Imagine the 8 with large single gull wing doors each side, hinged on a clear centre section about 20~30 cm wide. Maybe with slightly higher step over side pods (for strength).

Visualise this without a change to the overall body shape.

The mercedes benz 300 SL has the excact style of gullwing that could IMO be used for the rx8 .

i would like a swing up gullwing similar to the SLR

how about a Convertable RX-8 HARDTOP!! hehe dunno how possible this would be with the way the doors are made

lots of companies make a kit for this that bolts right on for 1500.

It's not availbable for the rx8 though yet
