I thought it was worth mentioning, another cock up from our friends at Mazda, velocity red is meant to be the launch colour. From reading replies to various threads, it seems that tit cars will be here first and red end of nov/dec. Another fine cock up from MAzda. Just proves what a shambles their comapny really is.

Well how would you feel if you placed a deposit with your dealer in jan this year, get told by your dealer that you are the first customer that has orderd an 8 from them, then get told this week your car will not be with dealer until 05/12/2003 at the earliest. Not only that, people that orderd in july are getting deliveries at the same time as me, so it is bullshit when mazda tell us that cars will be allocated in line of order, if this was the case I am in the first 500 atleast - so I would expect my delivery in the first batch, hey but no this is MAZDA we are talking about. So I think from this reply you have your answer.

Rexy I really do understand your frustartion, so much that if you want my Red without the SatNav you can have it. But when yours arrives I will take the Sat Nav option chucked in for free?

No? Didn't think so :D

Contingo - jokes aside, you have waited long enough for your car + I can honestly say that I am happy for all customers that will be getting their cars in the next 2/3 weeks. At the end of the day there are people out there that orderd way before me, but it still does not mean that I have to take all this carp from Mazda, I have got a letter in black & white that clearly states month of delivery NOVEMBER - AT last something Mazda can not say they did not promiss. So I will use this in my favour at this dissapointing moment of time.

Mate,

I dont want to antagonise you in any way, but

a/. this is still October.
b/. We still havent had an official letter confirming delivery dates(even though its 3 weeks late)
c/. You have a case if the car doesnt get to you before the end of November but nothing is confirmed yet.
d/. Wait till your letter arrives
e/. Chill man

CW007 - Thats the thing, I have been one of the very few that has been patient and chilled out because I thought I would be one of the first to receive this super car, but MAZDA have been misleading me, but point taken. Just need to let mazda know how I feel.

Understand where you're coming from Rex but knocking Mazda won't make your car come any earlier.

Let's wait and see what the next letter says.

I've been involved with this forum for nearly a year now and it's had it's ups and downs however, we're so close now, let's all chill until we have to official line.

Trying to be constructive that's all.

Cheers
