Close buddy passed away on RT. 287

Hey guys, I know it's been awhile. I wanna remind everyone to drive safe and wear your seatbelt. A buddy of mine passed away last week from an accident on route 287 in Parsippany, very close friend. He WAS speeding. He had a BMW M-coupe, 24 years old, about to head to law school.

Sorry to hear this. It could have been any one of us at that age. So many friends - he must have been a great guy.

In the story about the shrine - did anyone but the reporter (or maybe the assignment editor) think there was a problem?

Well we hung out at the scene of the accident which was a dangerous highway which we shouldn't of done, but we were all still so shocked... He was a real close friend, and was so young. There was 150+ cars with hazards on the way to the cematary May he rest easily now, and we say now 'there are no speed limits heaven'. He's totaled many cars at 120mph+ and walked away, he was an amazing driver. But he was wreckless.

Kel, Thanks brother, i'm glad to hear you met his family. I was just at his house earlier and his father and younger brother are making out alright. His younger brother asked if when he got license if i'd let him top out my car, I said of course, on the track. His mother, has run out of tears, and is on all types of anti-depressants. May he rest in peace now. WEAR SEATBELTS!

I am sorry for your loss. This is a reality check that speeding can cost more than just a fine. God's speed.....
