Hey guys, i'm from the rx7 forums and we're having a meet at sherway gardens on October 21st it looks like we're going to have a great turnout with at least 15 rx7 guys but anyone from this forum is more than welcome to come.

If we can start a list with the people that would like to come from this forum it'd be great just to give us an idea who can show up thanks guys.

Hey, where in Sherway gardens exactly are we meeting? I'm not familiar with Mississauga. Can someone point out a location on a map image of the parking lot and where approx? I'd imagine the parking lot to be fairly large

Thanks QTWRE, I know where it is, but where abouts in the parking lot are you guys? the parking lot is fairly large I presume, and I've never been to these meets.

This is true. More often then not they've been correct so far.

I hope it changes as we get closer to the end of the week. But for now it doesn't look pretty.

Just to keep everyone updated, the weather doesn't appear to be co-operating for the Friday night.
So pending on what the other RX-7 guys want to do, we're keeping Sun. open.

Last check Jay Leno who is a collector of fine cars has an RX-8 and Miata. Oh yes a Cosmo too. Sorry to burst your bubble.
The only thing the rx-7s are collecting is the puddle of oil on the floor as it sits around unable to move under its own power. :)

What a nice day for a meet... There were maybe 20+ RX7s and the usual number of RX8s (3). Just can't get you guys out to a meet eh? I guess some people are just about the forum.

You see, the problem with public parks is they're too public! You've got families and their kids running around. You enter the park and you don't know if it's paved or gravel.

You can see why having a BBQ at someone's place would be better. :)

Probably a good time to get in another run at the Forks of the Credit before winter arrives. I find November to be better than October for this type of drive since the wet leafs are gone from the road, the weather is drier, and it's only a couple degrees colder.

I live far, but I'm up to do that cruise around the forks of the credit. I googled it, and it looks nice to do... so are we gonna do a run or what?

I know of roads up around my place in Halton that could make for a nice ride, we can make a side stop at the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame (401 near Trafalgar).

Stay away from the forks! That's a total cop trap!

I'm up for another cruise. A final one before putting the car away. It's getting harder to drive due to the drop in temperature. Summer rubber takes awhile to heat up when the temp dips below 10C.
