I want to get some new wheels but I find more wheels with an offset of +35 to +38 than anything else and I was told that the stock offset is +40.
If your running wheels with something other than the stock offset. I would like to know what the offset and size of wheel you have and have you had any issues like rubbing.

Stay as close as you can to stock off-set.

Find someone else who has those wheels with the offset your interested in to make sure they fit.

Otherwise, make sure you can return the wheels or pefit them.

Just search on this thread and you will find what you need.

 

Thanks for the words of wisdom guys but, what I realy want to hear are personal experiances from people with differant offsets.

 

+35 here, with 19x8.5"F & 9.5"R. Fills the wheel wells nicely and I don't have any rubbing issues though others have been known to rub.

I'm very happy and wouldn't change the offsets.

IMO, I would stay in the +35, +38 range if you are going to do a staggerred setup similar to mine.

The offset you choose will greatly be affected by the overall size of the wheel you want first. Whether it's 18" or 19"; staggerred or non-staggerred. That being said, if you want a wider wheel up front such as a 9.5" you will have to go with a higher offset like +45, +48. I wouldn't want a lower offset in my case because they would start to stick out past the wheel arch. Hence staying at +35. I want to say that I've heard of someone with a +29 offset but I can't remember the specifics of the wheel. Good luck.
