Hey guys. Here's the idea. I want to use my stock 18" rims and put winter tires on em and use these babies during the winter only. Then during the non-iced times of the year, have my current tires used on new rims. However, I also want the TPMS to work at all times (is that possible to happen with new rims/tires?)

Anyway, just curious if that is possible. Also, I am willing to take any suggestions on what rims to get for my 06 Galaxy Gray RX-8. I am thinking of going with something darker/gun-metalish. Thanks for any help!

 

easiest way is to get another set of TPMS sensors to put in your new wheels, unless you want to keep taking the tires off.

 

OK after doing some looking, like TireRack, I do see that they do offer to install those shipped, which is nice.

So yeah, any suggestions on good looking 18" rims for a Galaxy Gray RX-8. I kinda like the look of these:

Also, is there a real difference between the Blizzak LM-25 snow tires and the Pirelli Winter 240 SnowSport snow tires? There's currently about a $40 difference per tire so I just wanna save money where I can without risking loss in traction.
