Just a reminder, registration closes at midnight tomorrow night. There are 6 cars registered so far, and I just ran the route yesterday. It's clean and open, and it looks like we may get some fresh pavement to play on in a couple places. Keep your fingers crossed.
And yeah, Sky, we can hang out a little longer and wait for you.

Registration at the-winding-road is closed, but you're welcome to join us any how. I always print off a couple extra route maps, but the extras are first come first served.

Like I was planning on going to the Seattle New Car Show in Seattle next weekend.. anyone else interested?

The drives all get posted here, usually about a week after I get them up at the-winding-road.com. I'm now predriving every route, so it may take a little longer to get the details up, but the general idea will be up in advance.
I used to go to the car show, but the car makers don't take it seriously. One year, chevy didn't even bother to bring a vette. Another ford forgot all about the Mustang. And you'll never see anything exotic from the big makers. Yeah, Ferrari and Mazerati and the like have their tiny little sections, but that's about as cool as it gets. Don't get me wrong, if you have been before, you should go, and if you enjoy it great, but Seattle just gets the shaft when it comes to car shows.
