dang no kidding- thats why us rotorheads gotta stick together... noone else understand the true concept and point that we are trying to make with our cars and ideas.... "tester chris" should have his right leg snapped in two and see if he feels the car oversteering after that... loser
I could not find it when I originally replied in the this thread but Pettit wrote a rebuttal to the article. It is a good read and explains a lot so maybe someone has a link or a copy they could post.
They deserve to have been trashed, the results speak for themselves
Too often modded cars are tested and the results are underwhelming. How often have we seen proper tests of tuner cars go up in smoke, or completely screw up other aspects of the power delivery, reliabilty, etc. only to get some magic hp number on a dyno for the dickless types.

I'm going by the test, $5000+ for 4/10ths and driveability issues? Got no doubt they're a good bunch of guys, but jeez!
And their comments on the brake kit were just utter stupidity. A brake kit that doesn't touch the calipers of course isn't going to decrease stopping distances. The entire purpose of such a kit is to decrease brake fade and improve feel and modulation, features which they noted the kit as having.
Pettit used to have a rebuttal on their page. But seeing as the article is so old they probably figure that it's better to just not bring it up at all as most people looking at Pettit now won't have seen the article.
i can agree with that, they would be substantially harder to install it and tuning rather than just having it, pretty much just like buying a FI 8, haha. i dont know why anyone would want to sell one of those, unless something is wrong with it, ha
