:) I was at a audi meet with some of my friends (all my friends drive audis or at least a euro car except for me) and I entered a raffel at stevens creek audi and I won! I didnt just win like a t-shirt, I won a set of 4 brand new tires of any size!!! up to a $1,500 dollar value!!! :jump:

so now i have to decide on what size tires to get...

I am running 245/35/r18's (falken 452's) but I wanted to know if i could run 255's on my rims. and I think I want to go back to the 45's rather then the 35's... I like more sidewall.

also any suggestions on what tires for in that price range.

i would say with 8.5 rims would be ok especially if you have more sidewall like you say you want... i am going 265/35 on my 9.5 inchers and i like the look of that... yours just would like a slight bit bulding out if you had a thin sidewall so if you go 45 instead of 35 I think it would look fine... just my thoughts though! good luck

well you are talking difference of less than 1/2 and inch (10mm) difference and a different manufacturers have variance between their widths anyway. I ran a 255 RT615 that was only 3 mm wider than my 245 toyo R888. Either way, if you are only on the street then 255 is fine on 8.5" rim. I ran it on the track and a bit squirmy but bareable so definately fine on the street.

Cheers
