Springs and Speed Bumps

I am thinking about dropping my car with some springs. and i have been looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. with a 1.2" drop in the front and a 0.8" in the rear. i just want to hear from other people who have this kit, if they are able to get over speed bumps and pull into driveways.

yes, no problems with speed bumps and driveways, except really vicious ones. and its a 1.2 front and 1.2 rear drop.

I have one more question.
What are the downsides of getting new springs? will it make things not last as long...etc..

it may lessen the life of the shocks, as they are designed to sit at a certain height. other than that, you shouldnt have any issues. if you are planning on getting performance shocks, get them when you get the springs, it will save on labor during the install

just do the ricer move and approach speed bumps and drive ways at an angle

1.2" drop up front will make little difference unless you pair it up with a kit. as long as you turn your wheel around some places.

^Right. I'm going with Tein S springs. I like the drop I seen on the 8's at ssx that had the set up and for the price you cant go wrong. Out here in Vegas the drive-ways are not as bad as in Calie. I was just there for ssx and I bottomed out when coming out of McDee's. I was like wtf? I'm stock!
