Ok, got my new digital logger back for the separately installed wideband.

This is just a bit of a run on the freeway, 4th gear, about 60-80mph.

I'll have to get some better runs later tonight, and also when I test the aux box to add the wires for my egt and tap in a few other engine sensors. Then the sky is the limit for monitoring while tuning.

...holy jeez man... are you SURE this wideband is calibrated correctly??? that's insane...

Holy crap... that's rich . If it's true, there is hope for better gas mileage with some leaning. :D

I would also question about the calibration of the wideband.

It's being recalibrated this morning.

This is what I saw with the other unit, too.
It is a narrow range of rpm!!

Give it a few days and I'll be able to get better data out of it all.

I wish I knew what you guys were talking about. It looks very interesting.

Ok, that was it... calibration. Re-did the car cold after sitting all night and morning. Initial calibration was only with the car sitting for about 2 hours.

It's reading in the low .70's to ~ .75 on WOT for a lambda reading.

I logged some runs to work, forgot the serial cable, so I'll plot some new ones tonight.

There were mentions of "leaning" part way through the rpm's. I'm not seeing anything like that at all.

phew... i can only hope that made teh reading nearly twice as lean... :-s

that doesn't sound too terrible... not like this 7.5:1 stuff!!

uh, yeah... your x axis (which i'm assuming is some range of rpm) doesn't seem to be indicative of an rpm range... unless that's x10 for engine speed??

as far as leaning the curve as rpm's increase, this isn't the case with the stock unit: around idle, it can hit nearly 16:1, but seems to hover at ~11:1 through the rest of the range (from that old old dynoplot), which is obviously way the hell too rich.

canzoomer's made tremendous progress in performance changing the curves and timing, so it really ought to be rich, even wiht properly calibrated readings.

But the dyno plot is post cat readings.

I'm looking at pre-cat readings, independent O2 sensor.

Yeah, I was a bit worried about those levels, but I should have some decent graphs later tonight.

X is just time, I don't have anything else hooked up yet.

Atleast I'm not the only confused one

You will learn very soon grasshopper son!

I did a better calibrated graph here:

Ignore the one above!
