My sister in-law saw the car for the first time and said "It looks like a cross between a porsche and..." and she couldn't finish the sentence.
So here is my take on it: The RX-8 looks like the bastard love child of a porsche 911 and an S2000.
A cobra and a viper. (with rx-7 and miata as grandparents maybe?)

Sam Mitani of Road And Track Mag. even said the RX8 looked more Italian than Japanese in one of his articles about the RX8.
and i will agree with the Maranello and S2000 love child comment too.

Reminds me in an eyes-closed sort of way of an old 240-Z -- long, tall, & skinny. The sensations triggered by the throttle of course remind me of every RX made. Then on the way home from the beer store I spotted an old Alfa GTV -- that's it!
