Eggs - bonnet, fender and door down to the metal.

It's 3 layer pearl I'm told, it seems it has to go back to white, then colour, then clear.

I was very nervous about the resulting colour match, but it's absolutely perfect. A couple of people I took the car to said things like "we'd be lucky to get that colour perfect" and "cars like that can't be colour matched anywhere but on the assembly line".

I'm not looking forward to any future damage, but I'm not as fearful of it as I was.

Well, you had more luck with your repair than my little close encounter of the gutter kind... got mine back on Friday, they totally screwed the repair... worse yet, when they polished it up to return it to me, they put 3 visible scratches on it! It's going back tomorrow, if it ain't fixed right and in a hurry, it'll be time to lawyer up me thinks... Glad to hear your baby is okay :)
