Paid a visit to the dealer around 8 in the evening to get another up close and personal look at the 8. They had a nordic green one sitting on the lot and under the lights, I would have mistaken it for the black, except a black one was sitting next to it. The NG looked very classy and understated which appeals to me. However, they also had the winning blue that screams out at me to buy it. Also had the WB with just the touring package, which is exactly what I'm looking for.

I would have inquired, but stopped off on the way back from someone else and was dressed in a t-shirt with holes and sandals. It was near closing time, and a salesperson popped his head out the door, took one look at me and went back inside. That was nice because I just wanted to look but made me a bit self-conscious. Guess I should at least wear a t-shirt w/o holes when I go back tomorrow.

Anyway, I want to take a look at the NG in the daylight. Anyone have any opinions on the ND?

I bought my Nordic Green with some hesitation. There were no pix of the color anywhere! When I picked up my car I was very surprised by the tone. After 3 months I've got to say I have no regrets. The color is very distinct and I love the combo with the leather. In the sun, the mica flakes really sparkle.

What color is your interior? I believe the one I saw had a black interior.

the green has more flakes than red or blue

I had pre-ordered a titanium with chaparrel interior. When I heard another dealer in the area had the first RX-8s to look at (this was back in July), I went racing over. They had a red and a Nordic Green. Wow. I cancelled my order for the titanium and bought the green, which they were supposed to keep to demo. (Fortunately, they'd only just gotten it in.) IMHO, this is the classiest of the colors. It's not the best at not showing dirt, but when it's clean, it can't be beat. Subtle and way classy. Sometimes it looks black, sometimes blue. A chameleon.

It's different than the usual greens.

I got the two tone chapperal leather. I love the combo.
