I'll assume that "ghetto" is the slum suburb, gang warfare kinda thing I see on US tv programs???

I would have thought that "the look" would be to illuminate the lower outline of the car rather than just casting a few pools of light under the car.

Anyway, to me it looks like there could be a little guy under there with a fluro getting in a quick midnight oil change :D

Looks great, Layz. Makes it look like it's floating on an anti-gravity field. It got too popular due to the Fast 'n Furious movie so some guys that don't get it will be critical.

It's cool that a variety of people like the 8 and do different things to it.

WOW, I'm surprised that I've gotten this many responses since last night. First off, I may live near a ghetto, but I personally don't see myself as ghetto.

First issue, it's my car so I will do what I will to it.

Second, I'm glad to see criticism, this means that I'm still able to piss people off :D .

Third, to those of you who liked what they saw, thank you very much, I've been doing custom work for many different cars over the years. Those tubes are completly hidden which was a tall order to complete (known by anyone who has looked at the underside of the car) here's a pic of what it looks like during the day without the lights on.

I don't see it as ghetto, but I would think it would look a little nicer if the lights lines were "cleaner". ie. if they were blocked off just enough to create a harder edged line instead of the "fade" they have now. Or maybe if you tilted them towards the center of the car slightly.

Actually it costs just at about 200.00, the series from street glow. And it does look really nice on the silver, the pics dont really do it any justice.

By this do you mean the light that extends beyond the car outward, well the light tube is purely round there is no way to direct it soley towards the center, however as far as the light reaching out, it's really up to the person how far and how much the light goes, that is just where I chose to put them...

But seriously It is very rice. It may look good on a show floor or at a meet but not for running around town. In fact in many areas that is illegal as all get out. I know here in VA only police cars and certain emergency vehicles are allowd to display any kind of blue lighting.

Where I live in Scotland, it is very rare to see cars with neon underbody lights, so it's not really considered "rice". Personally, I like it, and besides guys, its not permanent.

Sorry, I never understood this type of thing, to me its like putting that mega-subwoofer in the back that causes the entire hull to rattle uncontrolably just so you can hear it 2 miles away, even though it sounds like hell.

looks wierd i would try to give it more of a faint look to just outline the car. dunno how to do it since ive never spent on tubes. im not big on lights..

i just people to see im coming and thats it dont need the cops to KNOW im around.
