Anyone go to Jerry's Little Car Shop?
Found this shop in Kent near my house that focuses only on Mazda's. Here's the link if anyone is intersted (www.mazdasonly.com) Im thinking about taking my car there for some maintainence work I wanna get done.
Well, if somebody can confirm his historical claims, I'd say he's worth a try. Unfortunately, there are lots of shop owners who claim to have been crew or chief for famous winners. If all of them were being entirely honest about their exploits, there'd be a lot more winners than races.
Not saying this guys not for real. I'd just want to see some independent corroboration of his claims before I trusted him.

I bought my 8 used a couple months back and took it to him to have it looked over before I bought it. He spent about an hour looking over the car checking on things. Seemed thorough, he mentioned a few things I had missed (One of the rims had a scrape on it and there's a chip in the front windshield) and I haven't had any problems with the car since I bought it.
I haven't had him do anything else on the car though.

Jerry is the real deal. I've taken my FC RX-7 to him several times and had good service. He's very knowledgeable and a straight shooter.
He has a good history with the local rotary scene. Check out the RX-7 and Nopistons forums and you'll find he gets good reviews.

Sounds good to me Blue. I'll call Jerry up to get my brake and clutch fluid changed, also to install my new spark plugs and wires.
Here's a list of things I already have done prior to my 30k. Anything else I should get done?
1. Replaced trasmission fluid and Diff. fluid with Redline. Shifting feels a lot smoother with the new fluid.
2. Replaced both front and rear brakes with Hawk HPS pads. HPS pads overall feel more responsive and have less brake squel compared to stock. Also, there is less brake dust in the front but in the rear that's a different story.
3. Got oil change
4. Replaced my air filter with a reusable one from Green.
